Orico Outs SDK25-U3 Colorful 2.5-inch USB 3.0 Drive Enclosures Sep 16th 2013, 06:10, by btarunr@techpowerup.com (btarunr) Peripherals maker Orico rolled out the SDK25-U3 line of colorful 2.5-inch USB 3.0 drive enclosures. The enclosures are characterized by matte-black on five sides, and metallic matte color options on one - black, silver, bright-yellow, blue, and red. The enclosure slides open as shown in the picture, and can house a 9 mm-thick SATA drive (HDD or SSD). While there's no word on whether the internal SATA link runs at 6 Gb/s or caps out at 3 Gb/s, the host connectivity is 5 Gb/s USB 3.0 SuperSpeed. The enclosure is designed to use a single connection (USB) for both power and host-connectivity. Orico plans to sell the enclosure both dry (add your own drive), and with a 1 TB HDD pre-installed (SDK25-U31T).
